Where is the best place to see the Northern Lights in Alaska?
1 Commentkmack asked:
I have been wanting to go see the Northern Lights and I know that Sept/Oct and March are the best times to go, however, I am not sure where in Alaska to go? Any advice welcomed.

Fairbanks. It has the most number of aurora active days per year of any US city. It’s relatively easy to get to and far enough north that if there is any activity you will see it. As you probably know it’s not a good place to see it during the summer because there’s too much light for too long in the sky, but that shouldn’t be a problem when you want to go.
